Review

I really love the the fit and length of this rain trench and it kept we super warm and dry on wet days. Perfect for New Zealand's unpredictable weather! The jacket itself is comfy, the heating button is discreet and the material is good quality (not noisy and plasticky like some rain coats). After spending some time in the rain it does start looking quite wet on the outside but inside stays dry and toasty.

Love it! Very warm and cosy. Nice longer length, so covers really well. Fits perfectly under a rain coat. Heats up super fast with back of kneck, both front hand pockets and back making for a fantastic winter warmer. I turn the heat on, up, down and off when needed and the battery then lasts all day. Easy to charge the battery and super easy placement in right hip pocket, which is very comfortable and not really noticeable at all in use.
I have two shorter Ororo gilets, but this is my go-to both in the house when chilly (saving a fortune in heating costs) and also under my rain coat for dog walks, shopping etc. when raining. Perfect, cosy all-rounder!

Lovely snug fit with room for layer underneath. Heats up in seconds, Love the heated neck collar, and the fact it is dual controlled heat, allowing you to turn on/off the pockets/neck and back when needed, or to preserve battery life a bit further.
As for the battery, the larger PD 5K battery is supplied with this jacket, which is capable of charging fully in 2 hours via a faster charger, i.e., 33W.
Battery sits discretely in inside left hip pocket and is comfortable and almost unnoticeable. In fact, after a couple of minutes, you dont notice it at all. Very comfortable. Have not washed it, as yet, so can not comment on how it launders.
Will definitely purchase other items from Ororo. The quality is fantastic. You really do get what you pay for!

I love it, and am thinking about buying aa second one in a different color.

My husband loves this work walking, shoveling snow, and standing alongside the pitch all night. Got a medium and he loves that more fitted vest stays snug to his body and helps him stay warm. He is a 32” waist.
